Winter birds
One of our many winter birds in Colorado that come this time of year is the Canadian geese. Every year around December it is not uncommon to hear a honking flock of geese above your head revealing a journey that these birds are on.
When learning about this bird I was amazed of Gods perfect plan in nature and how He made these birds instinctively migrate from one area to another taking a journey of up to a thousand miles. This migration takes place usually from April and May on the northern side and on the southern side from October to December. Although in January as I write this they are still hanging around.
There are many biblical lessons that you could learn from these birds. One which is very dear to my heart is marriage. The gander which is the male and the goose the female, once they find each other they are devoted until death to each other. What a wonderful reminder of the marriage between the husband and the wife. Devotion and faithfulness no matter what the hard circumstances are.
I could write more on these birds however, my intent is to encourage you to study for yourself so that God would reveal Himself to you through the study of nature. May the Lord bless you as you study Him and the lessons He has for you in nature.
