About
At the age of 5 years old my family moved us up from the city and into the wild woods, in a then small town called Pine Cove, California, population 500. The youngest of four children I happened to be several years apart from the other three. Which made my life more like an only child.
While not a believer in Christ then, the Lord seemed to have my heart already in His hands. Frequently when I was a child I would climb trees just to hear the sound of the tops of the pine trees blowing in the wind. Or sit still on “The Rock House” listening to the sounds of the birds, squirrels, or a common wood pecker while at night time in bed hearing the owl hoot.
Not far from our home was a meadow brook that you could hear a slight sound of water running and around this brook happened to be flowers of beauty that you never dreamed of in colors of blues, pinks, greens, purples and yellows. It was as if the Lord Himself painted this scene on canvas and I was able to be a part of this.
He (Jesus Christ) was a wonder to me. Not knowing that He was the creator of all things and in Him was life. I was later to find out at the age of 17 years the Lord again would reveal Himself to me fully by taking off the veil completly.
Now at the age of 44, He continues to woo me in His gentle unspeakable love. Still hearing the birds sing, listening to the wind blow, a snow fall that sprinkles white sparkles of clear diamonds that cause me to walk in humility over who my God is. The spring rain that falls in the late afternoon that cause you to have such wonder that you can’t help but pull up a chair, have a cup of tea and watch the show in wonder.
As you seek the Lord in His wisdom, laying down the foundation, Jesus Christ at your feet may He also take off the veil from your eyes as you watch in wonder giving praise and thanks giving to God the Creator of all things.
