I typically will put the date and time on my sketching and journal page. If it is a snowy day or a warmer day I might put the degrees. I then write a little bit about the day. My writing is not always legible. So I will interpret  this for you of my journal entry.

Finding the beauty in color. I thought I could rip this out if it turned out bad as I am learning sketching skills. Turned out I liked the imperfections. Blending colors. Went for a walk with Joy, Austin, Elijah. Love the chattering of the kids. Great eatem up day. Spring tease.

Most of the time I will write a bible verse from Psalm or something that gives glory to God. While it is winter in Colorado and not much color other then brown or the evergreens I will occasionally add color for some extra beauty and adventure.
